The history of HeRo Mechanics Ltd began in 2018, when Esa Lohela and Väinö Konttila established the company, leveraging knowledge of the trade gained in their combined experience of over 40 years. Our factory is based in Nivala, North Ostrobothnia in Finland, 150 km south of Oulu. Our skills and expertise in manufacturing finely designed component parts made us recognized by customers operating in the fields of, among others, precision mechanics, medical, and military industries.

As a young enterprise, we also remain young at heart, flexible and always open to new ideas and concepts. In 2020 we were among the first in Finland to introduce the powder metallurgy technology, purchasing the compacting press and continuous mesh belt furnace from renowned Chinese suppliers. In the beginning of 2021, we have been granted a certificate to confirm our highest quality standards in ISO 9001:2015 based quality system.

We believe in continuous learning and are willing to try new technologies and ready to face the challenges posed by constantly changing world. Remembering about our responsibilities to the surroundings, we seek out ways to constantly improve our production methods to be as environmentally neutral as a manufacturing process can be.
